John F. Masucci

 LAWRENCE: John F. Masucci, 71, passed away peacefully Friday, August 14, 2009, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.

Born in Lawrence on June 25, 1938, Mr. Masucci was the son of the late Enrico and Natalie (Boremi) Masucci.

John was educated in Lawrence where he lived for most of his life except for a time when he briefly lived in Salem, NH.  In the early years he worked in the local shoe industry, and went on to become self-employed as a CDL Truck Driver.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Jean M. (Lucinskas) Masucci of Lawrence; daughter, June A. Barkas and her husband Robert A. of Haverhill;  a grandson that he adored, Alexander R. Barkas of Haverhill; brother, Anthony Masucci of Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements by Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill will be private. At the families request there will be no calling hours.
