Kenneth F. “Ken” Boyd

PLAISTOW, NH: Kenneth F. “Ken” Boyd, 73, died Monday at Merrimack Valley Hospital. Mr. Boyd was the husband of Marilyn S. (Prescott) Boyd.

Born in Haverhill March 13, 1934 he was the son of the late Earle F. and Gleynn I. (Frank) Boyd.

Following graduation from Haverhill High School class of 1952 he continued his education in Boston at Saunders Electronic School. During the Korean Conflict Ken served stateside at Scott Air Force Base as an Airman Second Class
before his discharge in 1954. He then worked 32 years as a supervisor for the former Western Electric before his retirement in 1985. Ken was a very dedicated member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church having been choir director and serving on various committees. He was a member of Troop
#1 Committee Boy Scouts of America and was a charter organization representative. He was a member of RC Aces Model Airplane Flying Club and board member of Moongate Farm Condo Association. Ken and his wife shared many delightful years traveling to DeLand, FL. As a young man Ken had served
as Master Councilor of the John Greenleaf Whittier Chapter rder of DeMolay.

Along with his wife of 51 years he is survived by his sister-in-law Arlene Boyd; nieces Sandra King and Robin Boyd, all of Deltona, FL; cousin Beverly Pimpis of Ormond Beach, FL, and aunt Doris Boyd of Haverhill. Ken was the
brother of the late Earle F. Boyd, Jr.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral Sunday 3:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. Private interment at Walnut Cemetery. At the family’s request there will be no calling hours.
