Marguerite Fifield

HAVERHILL: Marguerite B. (Sawyer) Fifield, 84, died suddenly December 8th at her home

Born in Fryeburg, ME January 29, 1922, Mrs. Fifield was the daughter of the late Alman and Jenny (Hailey) Sawyer.

She worked at Raytheon Corp. as a welder for many years
before her retirement. Mrs. Fifield had participated in many
of the activities held by the Ladies Auxiliary of the
American Legion in Haverhill, and at the community center at Kennedy Circle.

She is survived by her daughter; Patricia Griffin and her
husband Rodney of Haverhill; eleven grandchildren; sixteen
great grandchildren; to great great grandchildren; brother;
Paul Sawyer and his wife Virginia of East Conway, NH, and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Bruce and Dennis Abbott and Shirley Ridlon.

Relatives and friends are invited to the calling hours
Saturday 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. Interment at Maplewood North Parish Cemetery will be porivate. Calling hours will precede the funeral from 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 395 Main Street, Haverhill, MA 01830
